'Send us lots of photos! We miss you and we love you,' her co-hosts added.

Daphne's husband, John, also confirmed the news in a statement to People, sharing: 'Daphne and I feel extremely blessed with our new addition to the family.'

He added that the couple's 19-month-old daughter, Philomena Bijou, is 'excited to bring her little brother home'.

The couple's baby son weighed a healthy eight pounds, six ounces, and measured 21 inches long when he was born.

Daphne's father, television personality Dr Oz, also took to Instagram to congratulate his daughter on her new addition, sharing a sweet photo of his granddaughter.

'Earlier today, @daphneoz blessed us with a beautiful grandson! @lisaoz and I couldn’t be happier,' he wrote alongside the shot of new big sister Philomena.

'Philo wants to know what all the commotion is about - I think she’s realizing that her lifelong best friend was just born. We thank you all for your well-wishes and prayers,' Dr Oz added.

His photo has earned nearly 5,000 likes and tons of comments congratulating the family.

On Monday, Daphne shared a picture of her baby bump on Instagram and revealed her baby's sex.

Wearing black pants and sneakers, the 29-year-old flaunted her full belly by lifting up her shirt in the casual selfie, which appears to have been taken in her bedroom.

'We'll get to meet our little boy so soon, cannot wait!! No center of gravity, no problem,' she captioned the snap, adding the hashtag #40weeks.

The daughter of television personality and health guru Dr. Oz first announced that she was pregnant with baby number two with her husband John Jovanovic back in April on her show.

'John and I are thrilled for our family of three to become four this fall,' the expectant mom, who is already mother to 19-month old Philomena Bijou, told People shortly after.

'Being Philomena’s parents has been the most fun, and we are so grateful and happy to get to have a whole new adventure bringing this little one into the mix!' she added.

Daphne has been sharing the progress of her pregnancy on social media with snaps of herself getting dressed in the morning and even one in a bikini at 28 weeks.

'This process has gone so fast,' she told Fit Pregnancy. 'So every three weeks or so, I take a picture on my iPhone of myself in the same position. I also keep a journal, noting things like when the baby moves. It also gets your feelings out - a great stress reliever.'

Now at full term, the excited mama is likely to go into labor at any minute and bring home a baby brother for little 'Philo'.

In the meantime, she certainly isn't self-conscious about her changing size. She explained: 'Being pregnant has changed the way I see myself. On [The Chew] we had two Victoria’s Secret models, and I was like, "Ha-ha, I don’t have to worry about looking like that!" I definitely would not have been happy if they had been there before I was pregnant.'

That self-confidence didn't come easily. Daphne grew up overweight - she weighed 180lbs at 17 - and didn't become so svelte since dropping the pounds in college - after which she wrote her first book, The Dorm Room Diet.

And though she expected to have to return to baggy clothes the first time she was pregnant, she said that she found that fitted pieces worked best.

'I don’t want to cover it up or hide it - I want to flaunt it,' she said, adding that she actually feels sexier, too: 'You’re thinking, "I’m pregnant, and all this voluptuous glory is up in your business."'
