Pop sensation Demi Lovato has much to celebrate these days as she received a Diamond Certificate her latest album, Confident, on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old artist was radiant in bold red as she was honored with the award for selling more than 160,000 copies in just a few months.

The former Disney darling was presented with the award in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which recognizes excellence in the number of albums and singles sold in a given period of time.

Confident confession: 'This album will give me the opportunity to show people what I can really do,' Lovato told MTV News last year during her Neon Lights Tour

Demi stunned in a bright crimson dress that cinched at the waist which she paired with matching heels and bold red lip.

Confident is the fifth studio album Lovato has released and she co-wrote most of the songs on the album which was released on Friday.

Cool for the Summer was the first single released for her album this past July and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The former Disney Channel star also pulled off the performance of a lifetime as she made her musical guest debut on Saturday Night Live last week.

Confident co-writer: Confident which was released on Friday is the fifth studio album for Lovato and she co-wrote most of the songs on the album

The former X factor judge was accompanied by host Tracy Morgan and she took to Instagram to share her exciting news along with the caption, 'HOLY S*** I'M PLAYING @nbcsnl ON OCT 17!!!!!'

Lovato arrived in Brazil on Monday as she continued to promote her new album and rocked the stage for a performance at the city's JK Iguatemi mall the following day on Tuesday.

While Demi promoted her Neon Lights Tour last year, she sat down with MTV News and divulged a bit about working on her Confident album.

'I’ve already started recording for my new album,' Lovato revealed. 'The sound just evolves into everything that I’ve been and everything that I want to become.'

Gaining confidence: 'I’ve never been so sure of myself as an artist when it comes down to confidence. Not only personal things, but exactly what I want my sound to be,' Lovato revealed to MTV News

'I’ve never been so sure of myself as an artist when it comes down to confidence,' she admitted. 'Not only personal things, but exactly what I want my sound to be.'

'This album will give me the opportunity to show people what I can really do.'

This past June she shared more details about her album with MTV News via email.

'For this album, I’m making music that feels right to me,' she stated. 'This time around, I was able to explore different sounds, and hone in on something that I’m really proud of.'

Lovato included rapper Sirah and Iggy Azalea on the album and stated of Azalea, 'Not only is she a good friend of mine, but she’s also incredibly talented.'
