Mariah Carey snuggles with her two little lambs Monroe and Moroccan in their fuzzy onesies for sweet Instagram snap

With a new Vegas residency and an upcoming Hallmark Channel film, for which she stars and directs, Mariah Carey is certainly making her 'lambs' happy.

But on Thursday she took some time to cuddle with the two most important members of her fan base, which she refers to as the 'lambily' - her children Monroe and Moroccan.

The doting mom shared a heart-warming snap in which she could be seen cuddling with her four-year-old twins as they sported fuzzy, lamb onesies.

The 45-year-old had a big grin on her face in the sweet shot, in which she could be seen sporting a form-fitting black top and coordinating trousers while sitting cross-legged on the floor.

Mariah held her arms wrapped around her two children - with ex-husband Nick Cannon - as they snuggled up to their mother.

Her long, caramel tresses cascaded down her shoulders as she turned her head and grinned for the camera, while her son Moroccan looked up a bit quizzically.

Monroe, however, was game for the photo, and tilted her head just like her mother, showing off a grin as her raven curls spilled out from under her fuzzy, white hood.

The day before the Grammy-winning songstress had taken to Instagram to share a picture alongside Mean Girls' star Lacey Chabert from the set of their Hallmark Chanel holiday film.

The two could be seen smiling as they posed in front of a Christmas tree decorated in twinkling lights while on the set of the upcoming A Christmas Melody, which Mariah is also directing.

According to InTouch Weekly, the star has been quite the diva as she takes on her directorial debut on the holiday film's Cincinnati set.

She has reportedly been taking naps so often that the crew has to schedule filming around them. And the girlfriend of James Packer has also allegedly asked for a private trailer just for her dog.

'Our day revolves around her nap schedule,' the source said. 'She's constantly napping and doesn't like to be woken up. That would be understandable if she were performing, but she's been driven to set every day and not doing much [physical] activity.'

'She also insists on having someone hold her drinks as she sips them on set,' the source said. 'She will only drink through a straw.'

Mariah also reportedly spends more time taking behind the scenes selfies than doing any directing. 'It's a major distraction. She spends an hour smiling for the camera while the cast and crew are waiting,' the insider added.

The upcoming holiday movie tells the story of a music teacher who helps a young girl - who is new in town - write a song for the community's Christmas show.

Mariah's co-star Lacey plays the lead role in the film, which is set to premiere on the Hallmark Channel on December 19.

Previously Mariah has starred as the lead in 2001's Glitter, and appeared with Forest Whitaker in 2013's The Butler.
