Jeff Goldblum's wife gave him a gushing shout out on Instagram on Thursday for his 63rd birthday.

Emilie Livingston shared a photo of the Jurassic Park star holding their new son. They appeared to be just out of the bathtub.

Her caption read, 'Happy birthday to my hunky, handsome, dashing husband!!! My true love, my soulmate, i am eternally yours!'

Jeff and Emilie wed in 2014 after a short courtship.

They then welcomed their son Charlie Ocean on the 4th of July this year.

The timing was considered perfect because one of the actor's biggest hit films is Independence Day.

In August Jeff told Conan O'Brien he was very happy. The action star praised his 'dear, dear wife' Livingston.

'She's so wonderful. She's so good,' the Portlandia star said.

And he added his son is 'so good and sweet. I enjoy him. I love him to bits. I nuzzle him, I smell him, I kiss him, I talk to him, I make jokes with him, I sing to him.'

The Detour star - who is expecting a baby girl in late November - did not name her Following co-star Kevin Bacon nor her Hung castmate Thomas Jane.

Instead she named Goldblum. 'He f*** you with his soul,' the blonde Texan said.
