She'd just had her formerly blonde locks dyed shocking pink just hours earlier.

And it looked like Ashley Roberts couldn't wait to show off her eccentric new do as she walked the red carpet on Wednesday night.

The former Pussycat Doll revealed her new hair colour, which she teamed with a clashing reddish-pink dress as she attended the RSPCA Animal Hero Awards.

Earlier that day, the former platinum pop princess showed off her new look for the first time as she emerged from a workout session in London.

Ashley, 34, seemed to have chosen her favourite colour too, because she matched her bright hair 'do to her gymwear with some hot pink headphones wrapped around her neck.

She looked focused on fitness with a grey hoodie layered over a sports bra and some sculpting leggings showing off her trim form.

On her feet, Ashley chose comfort with a pair of bright white running shoes and a black padded jacket kept her warm on top.

Fans of the Pussycat Doll will remember her best for her bright blonde hairstyle, that she's rarely ever deviated from.

Sharing a picture on Instagram earlier that day, she told fans: '"Don't be afraid to use all the colors in the crayon box"- Ru Paul. Pink hair don't care #bordeauxpink'

The US beauty seemed to have a streaky aspect to her dye-job too, and from behind, the bob haircut had low and highlights to it.

Keeping fit: Ashley was keeping fit in London when she unveiled her new style

It's a good time for the star to be playful with her look, since she's expected to make a return to US TV in early 2016.

NBC announced at the start of this month that Ashley would be returning to her native USA as the new host of 1st Look, a show which aims to unveil the latest restaurants, nightlife spots and travel destinations.

Current host Audrina Patridge, over The Hills fame, will step down at the end of 2015 and Ashley says she's already packed her bags, ready to leave her adoptive home in the UK.

She said of the opportunity: 'I am so excited to join the 1st Look family and begin this new adventure in my life. My bags are packed; bring on the fun!'

Ashley started her television career after seven years in the Us pop group The Pusscat Dolls, which also featured Nicole Scherzinger.

While in the UK, Ashley featured on such popular shows as I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and then later helped present Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
