They married in late April in Las Vegas after meeting on Facebook and dating for less than a year.

A source told the site a big issue was the actress' mother, who had accused her daughter's husband of being a gang member.

In legal documents reviewed by the site, the actress is asking the court 'to cut any chances of spousal support for Jimmy.'

Green, a music engineer, told the site the marriage 'has been a nightmare from the beginning.'

Their wedding in Sin City was very small and the two dressed casually. She wore a peach floral knee-length strappy summer dress, and added some bling accessories. He had on a plaid shirt.

In June Jimmy made headlines when it was reported by TMZ he was a 'fugitive from justice.'

Green was claimed to be a wanted man in Tuscon, Arizona after a 2012 incident in which he allegedly threatened to kill a store owner.

Soon after the actress' rep told UsWeekly that she feels the claims are 'not true.' It was added, 'We are obviously concerned about the allegations and we are looking into the matter. Lark would like this cleared up as soon as possible.'

Green told E! News regarding the warrant for his arrest: 'It was just a misdemeanor. They are blowing it out of proportion. Whatever happened, it is in my past. I am a changed man.'

He also intends to go to court to get the case thrown out. “I have been rehabilitated,' he said.

Days later her mother Patricia filed a restraining order against Green.

Patricia claimed that Jimmy is a member of the Los Angeles street gang the Bloods who has been living under her roof and has threatened her, according to TMZ

Lark's mom claims that after Lark and Jimmy wed he was supposed to leave her house in Pasadena, California and take a bus back to his own place.

That wasn't the case, as Patricia said she kept finding Jimmy sleeping in all sorts of places around the house - even in a closet on one occasion.

Patricia claimed that the music engineer shouted at her, 'You motherf**ng woke me up, ain't that a b**ch!'

Lark's mother added that Jimmy would hurl gang signs at her during arguments.

The elder Voorhies was granted a temporary restraining order that forbids Jimmy from coming closer than 100 yards from her or her house.

TMZ claimed to have spoken with Jimmy who said that, although he is a Blood, he doesn't have any desire to hurt Lark's mom.

In a 2012 interview with People, Patricia claimed that Lark has bipolar disorder and indicated she is emotionally fragile.
