She was one of the many A-list models taking to the runway at the Balmain x H&M show in New York City.

But Alessandra Ambrosio was in a league of her own as she stormed down the catwalk on Tuesday, showcasing the luxury fashion house's covetable new collection with the high street store.

The 34-year-old Brazilian beauty was instantly recognisable thanks to her chiseled cheekbones and endless legs as she modelled a series of structured looks with dazzling embellishments.

Runway diva: Alessandra Ambrosio looked incredible in a glitzy blue dress as she sashayed down the runway at the Balmain x H&M show in New York City on Tuesday

Alessandra first donned an electric blue garment with the high end brand's typical shoulder pads and short hemline.

The glitzy garment was cinched in at the waist and paired with a statement necklace, opaque tights and studded boots.

The Victoria's Secret favourite then changed into a plunging, pearl embellished jacket, paired with skinny jeans and a similar dramatic choker.

The Balmain x H&M show was a hot ticket since everyone from Kylie, 18, and Kendall Jenner, 19, to their pal Gigi Hadid, 20, were in attendance.

The show also featured a special performance from the Backstreet Boys, who serenaded fashion enthusiasts with their pop sound.

Alessandra was clearly a fan, and the gleeful beauty was spotted mouthing along and dancing beside Kendall and Gigi as the reformed boy band belted out their hits.

Meanwhile, Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing said of the collaborative collection: 'I think the concept for H&M x Balmian is putting the couture in the stores.

'It’s a really rich and strong collection that is infused with the Balmain DNA. It’s richness and French, and it’s inspired by pop culture and the glamour that Balmain is known for… while keeping the quality of course!'

The Balmain x H&M collection will debut in stores on November 5.
