She recently decided to shutter the website for her lifestyle brand, Preserve, after just one year, ceasing down operations on October 9.

However, the 28-year-old has kept busy by spending time with family, or treating herself to keep her mind off of it, such as when she stepped out for sushi in New York on Wednesday.

The mother-of-one looked stunning in a colorful jacket as she was seen leaving a sushi restaurant in Brooklyn on her own.

Blake wore a fuzzy, light grey turtleneck sweater, which the Gossip Girl alum sported with the sleeves rolled up.

She coupled the flattering top with a multicolored, asymmetrical jacket, and showed off her toned pins in skintight, dark wash jeans.

The blonde beauty finished off her stylish look with a pair of two-toned high heels with embellishments on the toe.

She also carried a shimmery blue handbag for the outing, and wore her long, blonde tresses styled in soft curls.

Blake - spotted without baby daughter James or actor husband Ryan Reynolds - kept her make-up simple, save for a bit of bright pink lipstick.

She seemed to be in good spirits for the outing, showing off a smile as she left a sushi restaurant in the city.

Following the closing of Preserve, Blake has been keeping busy shooting Woody Allen's new film in the Big Apple, which also stars Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, and Steve Carell.

Very little is known about the as-yet-untitled movie although Blake did reveal recently that the character she plays is 'a stretch for her.'

Meanwhile, The Age of Adaline star showed off her sense of humor as she shared a fun, throwback snap to Instagram on Monday.

The photo showed an old white, crewneck sweatshirt, which featured the image of a fictional magazine called 'Sports Time,' that showcased the 'All-Star Player of the Year!' on its cover.

A muscular woman and man could be seen posing on the cover, though their faced had been swapped out for those of young Blake and her brother, Eric Lively, as reported by Us Weekly.
