They were the stars of the show at the Balmain x H&M's catwalk launch the previous evening.

But Kylie, 18, and Kendall Jenner, 19, couldn't have been further from their glamorous selves as they flew out of JFK airport in New York City on Wednesday morning, wearing dowdy khaki parkas.

The stylish siblings swapped their glad rags for baggy waterproof coats, looking a little tired as they prepared to catch their early morning flight.

The girls appeared to be taking inspiration from the Gallagher brothers in their baggy mackintoshes, worn over casual sportswear and matching trainers.

Kylie kept a low profile as she strolled along, carrying a backpack slung over one shoulder and wearing giant sunglasses.

Kendall went make-up free, sporting black leggings and a T-shirt under her long jacket.

The girls were no doubt heading back to Los Angeles to reunite with their famous family following the stress of the past week, dropping everything to rush to Lamar Odom's hospital bedside.

While the rest of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan has resumed normal business, Khloe Kardashian has allegedly been keeping vigil over her estranged husband in the wake of his health scare.

On Monday, Us Weekly reported Lamar was being moved to a rehab center in Los Angeles later this week after waking up from a coma last week following his collapse in a legal brothel in Nevada on October 13.

While top model Kendall walked the runway for Olivier Rousteing's anticipated collection, Kylie cheered her sister on from the front row.

Kylie stood out among the glamorous crowd in one of the designer's creations - a black and heavily gold-embroidered mini-dress with long sleeves and a blue-banded waistline, and matched with thigh-high black boots.

With her sophisticated look, Kylie rivalled the models who walked the runway show. They included Alessandra Ambrosio, Gigi and Bella Hadid and Kendall, of course.

Kendall modelled one outfit similar in detail to the dress worn by Kylie, who watched with pride as her sibling sauntered by.

The runway diva and her best pal Gigi put on a united front, holding hands while showing off their lean physiques in edgy monochrome ensembles.
