A Nevada sheriff's detective who obtained a search warrant the night Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a brothel told a judge he believed the former NBA star overdosed on drugs including cocaine.

Court records obtained Thursday reveal that the warrant said prostitutes told police they believed Odom snorted cocaine in a bathroom while they were in the adjacent bedroom October 13.

Brothel officials have told reporters that workers saw Odom drink alcohol and take supplements sold as 'herbal Viagra,' but no employees saw him take illegal drugs.

The judge authorized police to obtain a blood sample from Odom, who had by then been taken by ambulance to a Las Vegas hospital.

TMZ is reporting now that due to his two emergency surgeries Odom is in a 'fragile mental state.'

Odom's family said Thursday that he is improving as he undergoes therapy in Los Angeles.

A statement released Thursday by Alvina Alston, publicist for Odom's aunt JaNean Mercer, says Odom 'is beginning to gradually flourish both mentally and physically.'

Alston calls Odom's therapy regimen 'aggressive,' but she does not elaborate.

Radar Online however is reporting that an insider has claimed Odom is suffering from pneumonia in the hospital.

'He has gotten weaker since arriving at Cedars Sinai in LA,' says the insider.

They then added; 'Lamar’s doctors told Khloe Lamar was at a risk of getting infections from visitors, and told her he couldn’t have any more until his health improved.'

On Wednesday, Odom and Khloe filed a court petition dismissing their divorce filing.

The papers were first filed by Khloe in late 2013, but both sides did not sign until July of this year.

Due to a backlog in the city of Los Angeles however they had not been processed so Khloe was able to have her lawyer Laura Wasser withdraw the documents.

The document doesn't state a reason for the change, but it shows Odom signed off on dismissing the divorce Tuesday.

Khloe has been by Odom's side since he was taken to a Las Vegas hospital after being found in extremely critical condition at the Love Ranch brothel.

Kardashian posted a statement to her website Tuesday saying Odom made 'incredible strides' at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas and thanking the doctors and nurses 'for their kindness and diligent work.'

The hospital and Odom's relatives have not revealed his prognosis, but the family has hinted at a long road ahead, saying they realize his 'continued improvement' won't be easy.

Test results from blood samples obtained through a warrant still are pending, and authorities have not ruled out the possibility of taking action against the brothel or Odom.

On Monday the Daily Mail Online obtained photos from inside the Love Ranch brothel suite where Odom romped with two prostitutes and consumed a mystery cocktail of drink and drugs.

The first of the three pictures shows the 35-year-old siting barefooted on a couch, looking drained and disheveled.

His head is bowed and his eyes are barely open as he clasps a half-full bottle of water, wearing a red t-shirt.

A woman's bare legs can also be seen in the shot which was taken between 7:30pm and 8:30pm - around 18 hours before Lamar was found unconscious with white foam dripping from his mouth.

In the second and third images, the 6ft 10in former athlete is seen sprawled across a king-size bed.

Taken between 11:30pm and 11:45pm they appear to show him either sleeping or unconscious beneath a duvet in brothel boss Dennis Hof's private suite.

What appeared to be sex toys, candles and lubricant can be seen on the dresser along with what looks like a copy of Hof's raunchy memoir - The Art of the Pimp.

A zipped-up red-and-black sports bag is on the wooden floor next to the bed.

Love Ranch sources say the images were taken by one of the two hookers who Lamar picked out of a line-up when he arrived at the remote sex den in Crystal, Nevada, on Saturday.

Daily Mail Online did not pay for the pictures.

An insider claims that Odom has pneumonia and that he is not longer allowed to have visitors except for Khloe

Petite blondes Ryder Cherry and Monica Monroe visited him as often as six times a day for 'private party sessions' before entering his room and finding him unconscious at around 2.30pm Tuesday.

Lamar was initially thought to have taken cocaine and herbal Viagra but Daily Mail Online later revealed he had in fact taken a 'speedball' - an intravenous injection of cocaine with heroin or methadone.

Love Ranch management insist they have a zero-tolerance attitude towards drugs and make their adult performers sign agreements allowing them to spot search their rooms.

But reports soon surfaced stating that medics had found a needle mark on Lamar's arm and 'every drug imaginable' in his system.

'When the first photo was taken early Monday evening you can see he was sitting up and looked OK,' said the insider.

'That was right before they left to get food at Walmart. He wanted watermelon and a bunch more food including ice cream - we don't know what else they bought.'

The source said the two girls returned with the food but Lamar was already asleep and didn't eat it.

It is not clear from the later images of the former Los Angeles Laker if he was merely asleep or already in the throes of an overdose. However there are no visible signs suggesting he was unwell.

'It's hard to tell if had taken anything at that point, added the source. 'He did take naps all the time throughout his stay.

'The girl who took these pictures has kept the time-stamps because she believes it proves he was OK when she left him.'
