Equal to my daily dose of coffee...
I had never used the previous version so I have no way to compare how it used to behave.
I'm impressed with the news coverage & enjoy having the separate columns & content.
I wish it updated stories more often throughout the day. One problem I seem to run into is clicking on a story & the app goes to a blank page or seems to crash or just simply close on its own. If it doesn't close I have to keep hitting back, where it takes me back to the very main row of columns instead of back to the category I was previously.
I also agree w other reviewers about how aggravating it is to have to begin back at the top of each section after each article.
Otherwise I am very pleased with this app, enjoy the content and have become slightly addicted to check into it throughout the day.
I would like a notification option with the choice of which categories I wanted to be notified about. I had not found this option in any settings.
Love it but there are SO many typos
Love the app but there are so many typos. And once you click an article and hit back there is a 85% chance (algorithmically calculated) that it will lose you place and you must scroll through everything again to find your spot. Other than that it's great! I'll still use it if course but you'd think they would know how to spell and publish correctly... But I honestly can't stop opening this app. I work overnights and have a lot of spare time and I can read this stuff forever! Good news, news you've heard about, news you've never before. It's very informative!
Hate the new format!
Love the app & news....I've been reading your paper for many years.
But I absolutely hate the new format! Everything is all jumbled up! It's hard to read on an iPad mini! Then when you click an article and click "back", you have to find your place all over again....every time.
I prefer to just see the section that I choose! Please take it back! Newer isn't always better. This new update stinks!
