With the start of a new Premiership season just days away, and their marquee signings busy playing at the World Cup, Harlequins have turned to a more glamorous option to promote their new kit.

DJ Vogue Williams, estranged wife of former Westlife singer Brian McFadden, donned the Quins' latest gear at Twickenham Stoop, ahead of the London side's opener against Wasps on Friday night.

Harlequins finished a disappointing eighth in the Premiership last season, and will be without new acquisitions Jamie Roberts and Tim Visser, who are both still involved in the World Cup with Wales and Scotland respectively.

However, another new signing, James Horwill, could feature for Quins' opener, as the former Australia captain did not make the Wallabies' World Cup squad.

The RFU reached an agreement with Premiership organisers to start the new season during the tournament's knockout stages, and several teams could be helped by the fact that England will play no further part in the competition.

But Williams has been keeping the new kit warm for Quins World Cup stars and will be performing a DJ set following live screening of the second World Cup semi-final at Twickenham Stoop on Sunday October 25.

The new Premiership season kicks off this week with Harlequins hosting Wasps on Friday night

The Irish model, who appeared to have a passion for the sport as she posed inside the west London stadium, will be hoping her boys in green can get past Argentina so she might get to watch them before performing.

The 29-year-old has been in the news lately, as she was pictured with ex McFadden – despite the pair having announced their split months ago.

Williams, who married the former popstar in 2012, revealed that they were still living together in August – a month after their split.

On the decks at Harlequins screening of the first semi-final will be Kiss FM’s DJ Neev Spencer.
