It's not hard to see why Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness are one of Australia's most loved celebrity couples - nearly twenty years after they married, they're still as crazy about each other as they once were. 

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the X-Men star shared a throwback photo of himself as a baby-faced young man posing with his gorgeous wife and the pair haven't really changed much.

The 47-year-old dons a bleached denim shirt in the snap, while his partner, dressed in an all-white ensemble, has her hair styled in a frizzy high ponytail.

Given their attire, it would be fair to guess the snap was taken in the mid to late 90s. 

Another giveaway is Hugh's very chunky mobile phone that can be seen peaking out from his font pocket in the image captioned: 'Once upon a time'. 

Fans of the pair clearly loved the flashback, with many referring to them as the couple they aspire to be like with one follower writing: 'Relationship goals'.

The Pan star is a huge fan of the throwback snap, having shared numerous photos of himself and Deborra, 59, from various points in their near two decades of marriage.

In another photo, Hugh is seen with lengthy, Fabio Lanzoni-style locks, which he humorously compares to his wife's: 'Clearly, Debs and I were rocking the same hairstyle for a time!'
