Just married? Paris Jackson sends rumour mill into overdrive after using her boyfriend's last name on Instagram

They started dating in April and are rarely seen apart.

So when Paris Jackson, 17, tweaked her Instagram account to include her boyfriend Chester Castellaw's last name, rumours spread like wildfire that the teens had tied the knot.

However, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the despite the gossip, the couple are not married.

Page Six received no comment after contacting the Jackson's family attorney in response to the speculation.

A minor needs the consent of either a parent or guardian, as well as a court order, in order to marry in the state of California.

In Paris' case, the Golden State based star would have required the approval of her grandmother Katherine or cousin T.J. Jackson, who are both her legal co-guardians.

This isn't the first time Paris and Chester, 18, were at the centre of marriage rumours.

In May, the teen was spotted out with her boyfriend with a band on her ring finger, sparking speculation that they were engaged. 

However, the accessory turned out to be a promise ring, a source told RadarOnline.  

Paris and the budding footballer have been an item since April and regularly share candid selfies on their social media profiles. 

The couple were recently spotted hand-in-hand when they attended the launch party for the new Lifetime docuseries, The Jacksons: Next Generation, which stars Paris' cousins Taj, TJ, and Taryll Jackson.

It seems the blonde athlete is a good influence on his girlfriend.

'Chester is a really good influence on her and he keeps her healthy, sober, and away from the Hollywood drama,' a source told RadarOnline in May.

The source added: 'Chester is not only her boyfriend but also her best friend and the one person that she confides in with everything.'  

June 25 marked six years since Paris' father Michael Jackson died at the age of 57 from cardiac arrest induced by propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication.
