Their daughter Briar Rose turns one next week and it seems that Rachel Bilson and fiancé Hayden Christensen are already stocking up on plenty of birthday treats for their little girl. 

The couple were spied leaving Toys R US in Burbank, Los Angeles and Hayden was carrying a rather large bag filled with presents for their daughter. 

The pair, who have been together since 2007, dressed down for the shopping trip, with Rachel wearing a pair of light coloured jeans and a grey peplum T-shirt.

The 34-year-old actress wore a pair of flip flops and had her brunette locks tied up on top of her head.

It seemed like the shopping trip proved to be thirsty work and she was seen clutching a water bottle. 

Meanwhile her fiancé Christian, who was dressed in a pair of jogging bottoms and a striped T-shirt was tasked with carrying the goodies for Briar Rose.

The pair welcome their bundle of joy on October 29th last year and it seems the couple are keen to keep her out of the limelight.

Last week Rachel attended the No Kid Hungry charity benefit where she spoke about being a mother for the first time. 

Speaking about how being a parent has made her more aware of all the children who don't have what her daughter does she said: 'I'm a new mom…ish. She's almost 1, which is crazy. But you kind of feel like a mom to all kids at this point. Finding out that so many kids in our country are hungry is just not OK. So, getting involved was very important to us.'
