Kelly Clarkson's second child with husband Brandon Blackstock will be a boy.

The 33-year-old Stronger singer made the announcement on Friday with a tweet that read, 'River's gonna have a little baby brother :) We're so excited!'

The Texas native added the hashtag, '#itsaboy.'

The Heartbeat Song hit maker wed Blackstock in October 2013 during a romantic ceremony in the hills of Tennessee.

They welcomed daughter River Rose in 2014.

Kelly told People earlier this year that choosing the name was easy.

'We live on a river, so it really wasn’t that creative,' Clarkson - whose new album is Piece By Piece - said.

'We were outside on our balcony, and we both looked at each other and were like, "What about River? That’s kind of cool."'

And the middle name comes from a family member.

'It’s my mother’s maiden name. And I love alliteration,' the former American Idol contestant said.

Kelly revealed she was pregnant with her second baby in August during a tour stop at LA's Staples Center.

After she teared up while singing Piece By Piece, she said, 'I was not planning on announcing this, but … I’m totally pregnant. I’m having a really hard time.'

She added, 'I’m gonna nail the s*** out of this song. That was not how I wanted to announce that … I hate this song right now. My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk.'
