IAN LADYMAN: Ten years ago this autumn, George Best died. He was 59. The world of football lost one of its most captivating stars and Mike Summerbee, the former Manchester City forward, lost his best friend. As the red and blue of Manchester prepare to come together at Old Trafford for the 170th derby, an examination of Best and Summerbee's friendship is like looking through a window into a different world.
It's style versus steel: City are promising goals but can they break down dogged United?
IAN LADYMAN: With two largely unexcitable, foreign managers currently in office, the preamble to a Manchester derby is perhaps not what it once was. In truth, there was not a great deal of noise from either of the neighbours on Friday. Thank heavens, then, for the football. This time round, that remains terribly difficult to call as Manuel Pellegrini's City head to United on Sunday knowing that Louis van Gaal's side will overtake them in the Barclays Premier League with a win.
Mourinho vows to stay out of the news after difficult week as Chelsea defend boss over 'overly intrusive' video on the street
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he is happy to be criticised for his team's performances but insists he will no longer give 'good headlines' after a difficult week. A video emerged this week of Mourinho reacting to a youngster who was filming him on the London streets, while he also slammed the referee of his match against Dynamo Kiev as 'weak' and 'naive'.
Chelsea striker Costa won't change the way he plays for Premier League 'cry babies'
Diego Costa says he will not change his style of play despite criticism and hit out at the Premier League's cry babies. Costa was handed a retrospective three game ban for violent conduct by The FA after clashing with Laurent Koscielny in September.
Cuddly Klopp trains Liverpool for Southampton as Fenway hierarchy look on
Liverpool's owners watched their players gear up for Jurgen Klopp's third match in charge against Southampton on Friday. Principal owner John W Henry, and club chairman Tom Werner were at Melwood for the duration of the team's latest training session to see Klopp's methods in person. Henry and Werner were also in attendance at Liverpool's 1-1 draw in the Europa League on Thursday evening and here took another opportunity to watch their players at close quarters.
Fellaini visits DIY store before the Manchester derby, but does United star have keys to unlock City's defence?
Marouaune Fellaini was spotted visiting a DIY store as he went out and about on Friday in preparation for Sunday's crucial Manchester derby, and he will be hoping he has the keys to unlock Manuel Pellegrini's side. The Belgian star will be hoping to return to Louis van Gaal's starting line-up for the first time in the Premier League since the 3-1 win over Liverpool in September.
Manchester United vs Manchester City: The ultimate statistical guide ahead of derby day
The Manchester derby. A game filled with history and controversy involving two of the most historic teams in England goes all the way back to 1881. Both sides are flying high in the Premier League, with Manchester City top and two points ahead of their fierce rivals. But the all-time record between the two sides will leave United fans buoyant, having won 66 times compared to City's 45, with both being involved in stalemates on 49 occasions.
CARL JENKINSON: West Ham's on-loan defender on playing for England (and Finland)... as well as his love for pizza
WHO I AM: Carl Jenkinson has been loaned out by Arsenal, but the 23-year-old has been a key figure in West Ham's fine start to the season. As part of our Who I Am series, he talks about his life and career with Sportsmail's Andrew Magee.
What next for Ole? United hero finds home comforts on winning return with Molde... so, can he bounce back from Cardiff nightmare?
CHRIS WHEELER: It will come as no surprise to those who have followed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's career in Norway, that his return to Molde was marked by a Europa League win over Celtic on Thursday night. While the former Manchester United striker's experience of Premier League management came to a swift and unhappy end at Cardiff City, Solskjaer has always had a mercurial effect on his local team. As a teenage striker, he scored 31 goals in 38 games for Molde before moving to Old Trafford in the summer of 1996. As a manager, he led the town with a population of 26,000 to its first Norwegian title in a century during his first season in charge at the Aker Stadium in 2011, and retained it the following year.
Wednesday climb up the Championship after second-half strikes from Joao and Forestieri see off rivals Rotherham
Start spreading the news, Sheffield Wednesday appear to be making a brand new start of things under Carlos Carvalhal. A quick fire second-half double from their forwards Lucas Joao and Fernando Forestieri at the New York Stadium maintained their hold on this particular South Yorkshire derby and put the sleeping Yorkshire giants within a point of the Championship play-off places. Eight games unbeaten in all competitions and with a Capital One Cup tie against Arsenal next week to look forward to, it's a good time to be from the blue half of Sheffield.

Arsene Wenger lauds 'mature' Arsenal, who ARE ready for Premier League title tilt
Arsene Wenger is adamant the mental and physical fragilities that have cost Arsenal so many times in the Premier League title race have finally been consigned to the past. The Gunners have the opportunity to go top of the table if they beat Everton on Saturday evening, with challengers Manchester United and Manchester City meeting at Old Trafford on Sunday. It would be the first time Arsenal have reached the summit since February 8, 2014 when a 5-1 thrashing at Liverpool started a slump that would ultimately see them finish fourth.
