Bayern Munich arrived in London on Sunday night ahead of their Champions League group game at Arsenal, with Pep Guardiola claiming the capital's traffic was behind his decision to travel a day early.
Bayern, who made it nine league wins out of nine at the weekend as a Thomas Muller goal inflicted a 1-0 defeat on Werder Bremen, will hope to consign the Gunners to a third straight defeat in this year's competition on Tuesday night.
Guardiola is leaving no stone unturned in his preparations to guide the German club to a third win in North London in the last 32 months, having claiming the first of his managerial reign at Arsenal in February 2014.

Robert Lewandowski posted: 'Don't have much time to rest! Off we go to London! Champions League! #ucl'
'A journey from the Sabener Strasse to the hotel in London would take five to six hours because of all the traffic jams in London,' Guardiola was quoted as saying by Kicker when asked to explain the reasons for his early departure.
'That would mean that on the day before the game, we'd spend a lot of time in the coach and on the plane.'
Europe's most lethal striker at present Robert Lewandowski was among those to post a picture on Instagram as the defending Bundesliga champions dressed in suits and dark red ties on board their London-bound flight.
Manuel Neuer posted a video of him alongside Lewandowski and David Alaba recuperating in the pool following the Werder win.

Despite Arsenal losing to Olympiacos on matchday two in circumstances not dissimilar to the manner in which they lost 3-2 at home to Monaco last season, Arsene Wenger's side head into the fixture with renewed confidence after scoring 11 goals in their last three Premier League games.
After defeating Watford 3-0 on Saturday evening, Wenger acknowledged his side need to now replicate the attacking instincts exuded recently on the European stage, to prevent a disastrous early exit from the Champions League.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has called on his team to come out all guns blazing against Munich
'Now we can focus and give everything on Tuesday,' began Wenger, who has guided Arsenal past the opening group stage in each of the last 15 seasons.
'The confidence level is there, we know exactly what is needed, a 0-0 is not even a good result. To score goals, we have to attack.
'To be 3-0 up in 20 minutes as we were against Manchester United would be ideal but we did not plan that. We need to play to our level because we play against a big team.'
