Making quite the fashion statement! Brie Larson wears embroidered 'a**hole' shirt as she jets into LAX

She insists she doesn't want to be taken seriously.

And Brie Larson made that message loud and clear on Saturday, as she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport.

The 26-year-old actress was clad in a sleeveless grey shirt that had the word 'a**hole' printed on side of her chest.

The Trainwreck star appeared to be in a playful mood, giggling as she made her way through the airport.

She appeared casual chic, also wearing skinny jeans and black loafers while covering up her blonde tresses with a blue and white Daily Show trucker hat.

Brie concealed her eyes with oversized plastic shades while letting her silky strands naturally flow down.

In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Brie recalled wanting to be taken seriously as a child actor.

Yet, her motives have taken a turn, telling the publication: 'The funny part is, now I don't really want to be taken seriously.

'Now I find seriousness to be rather ridiculous.' 

The actress, who has been in show business for nearly 20 years, had her breakthrough performance in the 2013 independent film Short Term 12. 

On Saturday, the star had just returned from New York City, where she was promoting her latest film, Room - adapted from the novel written by Emma Donaghue.

Room follows the story of Ma (Brie) who has been kidnapped and repeatedly raped in a shed, which she calls Room.

She gives birth to a son, Jack (Jacob Tremblay), and tries to use creativity and imagination to create a fulfilling life for her the five-year-old son.

After the mother-son duo escape, the boy's eyes are opened as he finally gets to see the outside world. 

Room - which Brie is already receiving Oscar buzz for - also stars William H. Macy and Sean Bridgers and hit theaters on October 16.
