Tila Tequila sparks controversy by posting a picture of her daughter dressed as 'Baby Hitler' two months after apologising for pro-Nazi comments

She was abruptly evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year over pro-Nazi comments she made in the past.

But after apologising for her 'irresponsible, reckless, and selfish actions' at the time, Tila Tequila has sparked outrage by posting a picture of her 11-month-old daughter dressed as 'baby Hitler'.

The 34-year-old uploaded an image of her daughter with a piece of square shaped material covering her upper lip to Instagram yesterday, captioning the picture with a bizarre rant.

Along with the image Tila wrote: 'Gasps!!! Isabella!!!!! What in the holy??? One day when you grow up, you're going to have to apologize for this picture, young lady!!! It will come back to haunt you! This way you'll know all the struggles your Mama has been through, but I remained strong! Just for you my #Princess!! I'm only posting this because #BabyHitler was trending on Twitter today! Lmao! Don't worry! I shall punish her for being a silly child who meant no harm to anyone! She gon learn today!!!' [sic]

The post, which was uploaded on Tila's birthday, was met with disgust from her followers, with one user writing: 'Um Tila you are hot but dumber then a box of rocks. If you want to encourage evil fine but don't put that on your innocent child how dare you. Dumbass.'

Another posted: 'Tila that's a bit... Gurl... Do you but this ain't cute. Should not do that baby like that' and a third commented: 'Wow. You need serious mental help. Unfollowing.'

Not all her fans were outraged and some thought the post was just a joke.

One wrote: 'Haha, Tila. Your kid is totally innocent and oblivious. Picture still remains funny.'

After Tila was evicted from the Big Brother house she apologised for her actions in the past.

Her exit from the show came after bosses discovered a photoshopped picture of her posing in front of Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz and comments in which she likened Adolf Hitler to a 'special and sweet kid' in 2013 came to light.

Shortly after her exit from the show she spoke to the The Sun On Sunday and she addressed the picture and her comments by saying: 'I was doing a lot of drugs and suffering from severe depression. I wasn’t well in the head.'

She also released a statement in the hope of being allowed back on the reality show.

She wrote: 'Back in 2013 I made a statement about Hitler not being a bad person, and immediately realized soon after that I had made a terrible mistake that would ultimately come back to haunt me.

'During that time I had been suffering from severe depression, and drug addiction for many years prior to that. I also attempted to commit suicide in 2012, and overdosed on prescription pills. I wanted to die. I felt worthless, and unloved as that pain continued to grow causing me to further spiral out of control.

'Losing touch of myself, and reality. It was absolutely the lowest point I had ever reached in my life, and today I am truly sorry to everyone that I may have hurt along my self-destructive path. I have made many mistakes that I am definitely not proud about, but I am only a flawed human who is trying my best to be a better person than I was in the past.

'I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible, reckless, and selfish actions and I hope that everyone can forgive me for the pain that I may have caused. I want to be a good role model for my daughter because I don't want her to go through what I have had to endure.

'I hope that Celebrity Big Brother will give me a second chance.'

But despite her attempts she was not invited back onto the Channel 5 show.

Tila, who first gained fame on her bisexual-themed dating show, has strongly denied that she is anti-semitic and in 2012 she said she was considering converting to Judaism.

But in a series of online postings, including a blog entitled 'Why I sympathise with Hitler Part 1' in 2013, she described the Nazi leader as a 'good man' who deserved forgiveness.
