Kourtney Kardashian split from her partner of nine years, Scott Disick, over the summer.

The long-suffering mother-of-three appeared to be relaxed and enjoying herself as she stepped out for dinner with a family friend in Calabasas, California on Sunday.

Kourtney had her children Penelope, three, and Mason, five, with her and was the doting mother while chatting with her pal.

Her friend seemed to be giving the reality star his undivided attention throughout the meal that took place at a large round table covered with a white tablecloth.

The raven-haired beauty didn't go to too much trouble dressing for the outing, wearing a comfortable-looking T-shirt, black jeans and ankle boots.

Her hair was combed to the side and allowed to fall in a graceful sweep over her shoulder.

Following the meal, Kourtney was the picture of cool and calm contentment while strolling along the garden with her youngsters - she most likely left nine-month-old son Reign at home with a sitter.

Earlier in the day, Kourtney donned sleepwear to attend sister Kim Kardashian's baby shower that had a pajama party theme.

Attendees included Kanye West, Kris Jenner, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall.

One night it's a Balmain party, the next a pyjama party for Kim Kardashian's baby shower and the next a casual dinner with a friend. Kourtney Kardashian is a regular social butterfly.

Less than a week after he partied in New York City with 18-year-old model Lindsay Vrckovnik, Scott posted the artsy black and white photo along with the capiton: 'Now that's 1 hot mama.'
