It was announced she had filed for divorce from her husband of five years, Brian Green Austin, in August.

But Megan Fox proved she and the Beverly Hills, 90210 star are keeping things amicable as they put on a united front while out with their two sons Noah, three, and Bodhi, one, in Toluca Lake, California, on Friday.

The 29-year-old actress and her family were out for breakfast in the affluent neighbourhood, with Brian, 42, looking like the ultimate hands-on father as he carried his children to and from the eatery.

While news of the couple's split came in August, the date of their separation was June 15 according to divorce papers obtained by People.

According to TMZ, Brian officially filed for spousal support following their split, with the actor also asking for joint custody of their two young children as well as financial aid from his estranged wife.

The actor claims he has been unable to work full-time since he was involved in a serious car accident last December, leaving Megan the major earner in the home.

Back in December Megan and Green were hit by a drunk driver in a head-on collision and while the pair were not injured, it has been claimed that the incident triggered a medical condition called Vertigo.

While Vertigo is a symptom rather than an actual condition itself, it has a major impact on one’s balance creating the sensation that the person, or the environment around them, is moving or spinning.

A source previously told TMZ that at times Green often can’t even get out of bed and so has not been to work since the accident meaning there will be a large disparity between how much the pair earn.
