The 12 Years A Slave actress posted a photo of the Eclipsed ad from Sunday's New York Times to her Instagram, captioning it with big news: 'In the @nytimes today. #EclipsedPlay moving to Broadway in 2016!! Yippee #EclipsedBway.'
The play, directed by Liesl Tommy, began it's two-month run at Public Theater on October 14.
The Kenya-raised star wrapped three films before her on-stage role: Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens playing Maz Kanata; Queen of Katwe; and The Jungle Book, voicing the character, Raksha.
