She's said to be working with Victoria's Secret ahead of its annual fashion show later this year.

And on Saturday Shanina Shaik proved just why she's worthy of being a model for the luxury lingerie label.

Taking to Instagram, the 24-year-old Australian runway sensation showed off her incredible figure in a silk and lace slip while reclining on a bed.

'Saturday ....in bed,' the beauty captioned the snap.

But while she also included the hashtag '#bedhair' and tried to draw attention to her dark tousled locks, it was hard for viewers to focus their eyes anywhere else but her pert derriere which was slightly revealed under the lingerie.

Shanina sported a strapless lime green number, featuring black laced panels across the side and the base.

A glimpse of her behind, and toned thighs was visible for all to see, as was her left arm as she placed it next to her head on the white sheets.

Staring sultrily into the camera, Shanina proved she doesn't necessarily need to be strutting a runway to take her fans' breath away.

After walking the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2011, Shanina was the fifth Australian beauty to walk the catwalk for the luxurious lingerie line.

Other local stunners who have hit the runway include Miranda Kerr, Jessica Hart, Elyse Taylor, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Sarah Stephens.

The following year Shanina appeared in print campaigns for the company, sporting some seriously sultry bras and briefs from the latest collection and also hit the catwalk again for the runway show.

Shanina Shaik has the most exotic features and this runaway runway regular shows off her glorious tan in a bold gold dress by Maria Lucia Hohan that had us dreaming of beaches and the summer already. But why wait until next year to wear cheerful colors like this?

Last year she made an appearance on the catwalk at the brand's annual fashion show, and while she hasn't made the cut as an official VS Angel this year, fans hope to still see the raven-haired beauty at the show once again.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in August this year, Shanina said she was definitely keen on strutting the runway for Victoria's Secret this year.

'I hope so yeah,' she told DMA. 'The show's coming up again this year so it's going to be super exciting and all the girls will be trying out for the show coming October'.

The 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will be held in New York City on December 8.
