Jessica Biel was the embodiment of elegance when she attended the 25th Annual EMA Awards in Burbank on Saturday.

The 33-year-old new mother donned a chic black lace gown that had a vintage vibe and fringe on the sleeves, along with a nipped waistline that highlighted her slender physique.

Adding a pop of pretty colour was her bright pink clutch, which contrasted beautifully with her ornate garment.

Jessica's hairdo completed the effect, as it was partially pulled back into a braid and had loose strands cascading around her face in romantic waves.

Mascara and a shimmer of bronzer eye shadow made her hazel eyes pop, while light pink blush coated her cheeks, adding radiance to her makeup.

Jessica looked absolutely picture perfect as she worked her magic for photographers, at one point sharing the spotlight with Environmental Media Association president Debbie Levin.

Jessica Biel was a gothic vision of elegance in her Valentino resort 2016 lace gown at the Environmental Media Awards.

The Environmental Media Association raises awareness about enviromental issues using the help of the entertainment industry, according to its website.

The awards show recognises those in the industry who have spurred action for the cause, and have generated more awareness about green issues, the website adds.

Jessica looked delighted to be in attendance at the green carpet event.

The actress did not appear to be accompanied by her husband Justin Timberlake, however the couple did make an appearance together at the GLSEN Respect Awards in Los Angeles on Friday.

'Thank you for allowing mommy and daddy to have a really good night out together,' laughed Justin, as he and Jessica took to the stage.

'With adults. Honey, look around, this is what adults look like. They do exist! They don't smell like poopy diapers...some of you do.'

The two were being honoured with the Inspiration Award for their long-standing commitment to improving the lives of children and their work with the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

'We want to thank you for leading the way to make our schools more safe, [and for] inspiring us for all of our children,' Jessica, said, according to Us Weekly.

And Justin concluded with a cheeky message: 'I'm going to stop talking now... because mommy's looking hot and it's date night. So we're going to go home and you can figure out the rest.'
