And when Ed Sheeran took on hosting duties at the 2015 MTV EMAs alongside Ruby Rose, at Milan's Mediolanum Forum on Sunday night, he couldn't resist cracking some jokes at her expense.

Only minutes into the ceremony, as the 29-year-old Australian actress joked about being as cute as kitten, the singer, 24, turned the air blue as he remarked: 'That's a beautiful p***y.'

Striding onto the stage in Italy with the Orange Is The New Black star, the pair both looked suitably stylish in their respective outfits.

But Ed let his dapper and genteel veneer drop only a few minutes into the ceremony as the pair joked about Ruby not being cute.

Following the Don't singer telling Ruby that he would teach her to be cute if she taught him how to be a bad ass, the actress pointed to a picture of a kitten photoshopped with her trademark quiff.
