She hasn't given up on finding love again following the demise of her eight-year relationship with Lewis Hamilton.

And Nicole Scherzinger stepped out in a lovely leather ensemble after her candid confession, hitting the town in New York City on Sunday night.

The 37-year-old singer flashed a big grin as she arrived at K Rico restaurant for a South American steak dinner.

Nicole was looking glamorous as ever in her sophisticated evening ensemble, wearing leather trousers and a smart coat with silk panels on the sleeves.

She completed her sombre yet stylish outfit with a leopard print scarf, a grey felt hat and chunky biker boots.

The former Pussycat Dolls front woman added a liberal amount of gold jewellery and some bright red lipstick to set off her look.

Radiant: Nicole's outing comes after she confessed she aspires to find true love and start a family

Nicole's outing comes just after she confessed to the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine that she wants a family in the future.

'I will definitely get married and have kids. It’s just who I am inside', she said.

Despite remaining tight-lipped on the reason behind her split with Formula One ace Lewis, Nicole insisted she was staying strong and keeping positive.

'Things are good', she enthused.' I think it's all about having a refreshing outlook on life, looking at things in a positive, uplifting way and having gratitude. I'm very blessed.'

Nicole also spoke candidly about her time on The X Factor, explaining that despite Simon Cowell not asking her to renew her contract as a judge, she still has a lot of respect for the music mogul.

She said: 'I adore Simon. He’s not as bad as people think. He’s a leader. I learnt a lot from him. We’re still close.'

Meanwhile, her on/off ex Lewis claimed his third consecutive world title after winning the US Grand Prix in Austin over the weekend.

He told the crowd: 'It's the greatest moment of my life. Thank you guys so much, for everything you do. I'm so grateful. To my family, I love you all, thank you.'

Hamilton, 30, made history by equalling Sir Jackie Stewart's record of three world titles for a Briton.
