A brave 13-year-old victim of sexual assault demanded to speak at the sentencing of the man who raped her.
The victim was just ten years old when Tobias Summers sneaked into her Los Angeles bedroom and kidnapped her at knifepoint, repeatedly raping her before letting her go and fleeing to Mexico.
Summers, 34, was found guilty of 32 charges, which included sexual assault, kidnapping and burglary, at his trial last month.
At the sentencing hearing last week, the courageous victim demanded the opportunity to speak and appealed to the judge to send Summers away for life so he could never again carry out such a heinous crime.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald S. Coen denied a defense motion for a new trial, calling Summers a predator
'It was not right, and no one should ever have to go through that, ever,' she said, according to reports by KABC.
'So I hope he goes away forever and even after that so he can never get out.'
On Thursday, Summers was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The victim's father said he could not express how proud he was of his daughter for having the courage to speak at the trial.
Prosecutors said Summers sexually assaulted the girl in numerous locations in Los Angeles, before letting her go
Tobias Summers was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for kidnapping a 10-year-old girl from her Los Angeles bedroom at knifepoint and repeatedly raping her before letting her go and fleeing to Mexico
He told the judge at the sentencing hearing: 'I can't understate the profound impact of what this monster has done.
'It has affected every aspect of my family.'
According to KABC, the victim's father said: 'He has shown no remorse. He has shown no regret.
'The only regret he has shown is he regrets getting caught.'

During the ordeal, the victim noted the various locations, which she later used to help police track down and convict Summers.
Police, who were alerted to the girl's disappearance by her mother, discovered the ten-year-old wandering barefoot and injured near a Starbucks in Woodland Hills - 12 hours after she was kidnapped.
Summers, 34, was arrested a month later in a drug and alcohol treatment facility in a tiny village on the coast of Mexico between Tijuana and Ensenada.
Summers checked into the facility under a false name, but police said they identified him from a Superman logo tattooed on his chest.
CBS Los Angeles reported that Summers' attorney plans to appeal.
The judge told the victim she was one of the bravest young women he had seen.
'My heart goes out to you and your family for the terror and suffering you have endured,' Coen said.
