And Emma Roberts was queen for the night at a bash thrown by Teen Vogue on Saturday in New York, celebrating her new campaign for Aerie Real and November cover shoot.

The 24-year-old donned a white flower crown as she worked the party in a striped white tank top and a long, floral maxi skirt that cinched at the waistline and showed off her black heels.

Posing with a hand on her hip, Emma looked positively radiant thanks to a coat of makeup that brought out her natural beauty.

Her light pink blush and heavy eye makeup complimented her blemish-free face, while her long blonde locks cascaded down in loose waves, parted at the side.

Adding a pop of colour were her ruby red nails.

'I wanted to do the shoot because with social media there's such pressure to look or act a certain way or be cool, and I felt I could show girls - just be who you are...That message gets lost with Facetuning and filters and Photoshop,' she told Teen Vogue.

In Scream Queens, Emma portrays Chanel Oberlin, the president of a college sorority.

The show began with a tragic incident on campus in 1995, before moving into the present day, where someone out for revenge is killing off sorority girls.

Even to the Scream Queens cast, the identity of the murderer remains a mystery.

'None of us know how the show ends. We don't know who the killer is; we don't even know who's going to live and who's going to die,' she told the magazine.

'Apparently only four people will go on to season two...It's fun. I think everyone secretly thinks they're the killer, so they are kind of playing it like that.'
