Cara Delevingne's girlfriend St. Vincent teams thigh-high boots with a leather mini as she performs on stage at charity event

It's one of the key looks for the transitional season and it seems that St. Vincent has nailed the thigh-high boot trend.

The singer showed off her slim pins on stage in the daring footwear, as she performed at a school Benefit in Mountain View, California

Cara Delevingne's girlfriend teamed the over-the-knee boots with a super short leather skirt a plunging top and a black blazer for her performance.

The 33-year-old singer was just one of many acts performing at the 29th Annual Bridge School Benefit held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre on Sunday.

And while she struck to all-black for her look, the singer, real name Annie Clark, added a flash of colour with a slick of bright red lipstick.

The event, which is hosted by Neil and Pegi Young, raises fund for the Bridge School, which assists children with physical impairments and communication problems.

Pegi founded the school in 1986 alongside Jim Forderer and speech and language pathologist, Dr. Marilyn Buzolich after struggling to find a suitable school for her son Ben, who suffers from cerebral palsy and is non-verbal.

The school focuses on the use of advanced augmentative and alternative communication and assistive technology.

St Vincent wasn't the only talent to support the good cause, Sheryl Crow and Ben Harper also performed throughout the weekend.

And as the guests performed on stage, pupils of the school joined the acts on stage.

Sheryl, 53, looked much younger than her years as she performed her set.

The singer helped tweeted a behind the scenes video of Neil Young taking to the stage.

Along with the video Sheryl wrote: 'A thing of beauty... @Neilyoung, Native American dancers, and the kids at @bridgeschool. #BridgeSchoolBenefit'
