Looking sweet! Charli XCX looks like she's fallen out of a box of Quality Street in two shiny dresses at the MTV EMAs
She's usually streets ahead when it comes to her music, but Charli XCX ended up resembling a cross between a Quality Street wrapper and kitchen foil in her two shiny frocks at the MTV EMAs.
After having missed out on an award, the pretty 23-year-old seemingly lost in the style stakes too when she opted for the dresses that wouldn't look out of place in a box of chocolates under a Christmas tree.
She debuted her unique ensemble at the star-studded show in Milan on Sunday, where Justin Bieber was the big winner of the night scooping 5 awards.

Beam me up: Charli XCX opted for a futuristic look on the red carpet at the MTV Europe Music Awards in a dress that resembled Bacofoil
No angel: Charli's ensemble was a mish mash of 70s inspired platform heels and a silver kitchen foil style dress
Futuristic was the theme for last year's MTV EMAs, but Stevenage babe Charli XCX kept the theme running this year too judging by her garish get-up.
The clingy silver Vivienne Westwood Red Label dress featured pointed shoulders, giving an Eighties vibe.
Charli, who was nominated in the Best World Stage category, accessorised her look with clunky statement jewellery, including a choker Westwood necklace with 'sex' emblazoned on it boldly, and a matching bracelet.
The chart-babe wore her long brunette locks in a messy side plait that fell down to her hips.
Double take: Charli also rocked a second kitchen foil style outfit in yellow on the night. She stopped to take selfies with her fans who lined the red carpet to catch a glimpse of the singer
Golden delicious: Charli looked like a sweet treat in her yellow dress which showed off her tanned legs on the night
The singer's make-up looked stunning as she pouted to perfection wearing a red lipstick with a hint of orange. Her light brown eyes were accentuated with a slick of bronze eye shadow .
Charli's choice of footwear was eccentric too as she stepped out in chunky vintage Westwood platform heels to add a 70s feel to her look.
Her nails were manicured perfectly with jet-black polish with a matching pedicure peeping out from her shoes.
Well heeled: Charli later changed into a yellowy gold metallic number and giant platform heels for her third outfit of the night
Charli's got sex appeal: The singer wore bold clunky jewellery on Sunday night at the MTV EMAs in Milan
The pop star - who's most known for her track Boom Clap, also rocked a second flamboyant outfit in yellow as she joined a host of global superstars on the night at the awards hosted by Ed Sheeran and co-host Ruby Rose.
Greeting Justin as he arrived on stage to collect one of his five gongs, she kept viewers on their toes with her new frock which looked like a variation of the first but in a bright yellow.
She swapped her bold statement bling for a slightly more subtle gold chain and toned down her lippy for a more natural look with her third outfit.
Big winner: Charli with Justin Bieber who collected a whopping five gongs on the night, making him the outright star of the show
With performances from the likes of Justin, Pharrell Williams, and Jason Derulo and Andrea Bocelli, the EMAs were quite the show.
Bieber, who scooped an incredible five gongs, told MTV he was looking forward to strutting his stuff on the stage, saying: 'I’m excited to share this performance and this new material with my fans around the world.'
Charli opted for a more casual look the night before at a pre-party where she rocked a backwards flat cap and a black and white stripped jumper dress.
Hot legs: Charli put on a leggy display at the MTV EMAs in her zebra-style get up at a pre-party in Milan on Saturday night
