And Katy Perry cemented her status as the all-American girl as she once again donned a patriotic outfit to belt out her hits on stage in Iowa on Saturday.

The Firework singer displayed her hourglass figure in a white gown fixed with a flowing star-spangled banner cape, to host a concert for Hillary Clinton at a Democratic Party fundraiser.

And to make sure she literally wore the red, white and blue crown - she even added co-ordinated headgear.

The star took over Hillary's Instagram account for the day, sharing images from behind the scenes of the rally, after the Presidential hopeful adopted her hit Roar as a campaign anthem.

'You're gonna hear us roar, 2016 and beyond!' the singer shouted during the rendition of Clinton's campaign song.
