It's 'roo' love! Chris Hemsworth shares cute snap of wife Elsa Pataky petting a kangaroo as he gushes over Spanish beauty
He's hailed as one of Australia's finest actor exports thanks to his iconic portrayal of Marvel superhero Thor.
But Chris Hemsworth, 32, poked fun at his roots on Sunday when he likened himself to Australia's national animal, the kangaroo, in a cheeky Instagram snap.
The tongue-in-cheek snap, which pictured Chris' stunning Spanish-born wife Elsa Pataky, 39, gently holding the chin of a friendly 'roo, is captioned: 'A few years ago, Elsa and I on our first date, I look a little different now, but she still holds my chin just like this, true sign of love'.

Chris and Elsa, both actors, wed in 2010 are the proud parents of three young children.
The family divide their time between Hollywood and Australia, but have recently settled down in the Australian coastal region of Byron Bay, away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
Fans of the blue-eyed hunk rejoiced earlier this month after Chris posted his first ever snap to popular image-sharing app Instagram.

The photo, which has earned more than 81,000 likes after being live for little more than a week, depicts Chris sanding in front of a large snake.
Speaking about his recent foray into the world of social media, Chris told The Daily Telegraph: 'I still have an attitude of 'what does it mean?' and 'do I want to spend my time doing that?''
'This is the world we live in and you have to embrace it otherwise you'll be left behind,' he added.

Chris continued to reveal his reason for joining social media in the interview, saying: 'you make these films and you pour your heart and soul into them so if there's another way to reach an audience and extend that exposure somehow, then, fantastic, and that is what that was about'.
The In The Heart Of The Sea actor is currently gearing gears up to film the latest instalment of the Thor franchise,Thor: Ragnarok, in which he will reprise his leading role.
On Thursday, the Australian government confirmed that the Marvel production would be filmed Down Under in Queensland during 2016.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk made the announcement via Twitter, writing: 'A Marvellous day to announce blockbuster 'Thor: Ragnarok' will film on the Gold Coast in 2016. #marvel #qldpol'.
