She's set to make her MTV EMA debut on Sunday night.

But Ellie Goulding wasn't going to go as far as Milan, Italy to do just one performance for the eager crowds.

Making a stop on her tour especially for the awards weekend, Ellie previewed some of her musical stylings at the pre-MTV EMAs bash at Piazza Duomo on Saturday night - similarly giving viewers an incite at her racy stage wardrobe.

The blonde, who's nominated for Best Song and Best Female at Sunday night's big event, hit the stage with some of her biggest hits to get everyone warmed up.

She flashed her bra in a completely sheer T-shirt dress and tiny shorts, rocking a more casual ensemble than we can perhaps expect for the red carpet on the big night.

Ellie was comfortable in Dr. Martens boots, needing no help from heels to accentuate her lithe pins in the thigh-skimming shorts.

Top performer: She's topping the bill for Sunday night's long list of entertainers

She spared no energy in the warm up performance, putting on an animated display for the Italy crowd.

The playful blonde proved that her heavy-duty boots were a sensible choice as she delivered bold moves alongside her rock and roll band.

Ellie's not the only performer who will be gracing the stage at Sunday night's big event.

She's lined up against Ed Sheeran, Jason Derulo, Martin Garrix, Pharrell Williams, Rudimental, and Jess Glynne.

Ellie is currently in the middle of her eponymous world tour, which will see the busy beauty continue globetrotting until March 2016.

The music awards performance this weekend will also coincide with the release of her latest single Lost And Found, which received its first listen on Saturday.

Having worked tirelessly on her third studio album, Ellie will release the follow up record On My Mind on November 6, 2015.
