She's got Poppy appeal: Millie Mackintosh gets showered in flowers and wears custom-made dress to support Royal British Legion

Millie Mackintosh proved she has petal power when she posed for a pretty photoshoot in support of the Royal British Legion.

Modelling a dress made from 100 red poppies to support this year's Remembrance Day appeal, the 26-year-old did her bit to urge the public to wear a flower for #mypoppycampaign.

The stunning poppy dress was custom-made by fashion designer Giles Deacon, whose original sketch took 72 hours to turn into a lurex wool black dress.

She was also showered with many of the faux flowers as part of the shoot.

Millie, who is married to rapper Professor Green, teamed her special look with a pair of black court shoes, which had an ankle strap.

She wore her hair in an intricate up-do, which had a plait running across the front - and she wore a slick of ruby red lipstick which matched the poppies perfectly.
