Lily James deftly wielded a sword as heroine Elizabeth Bennet in a new trailer for Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.
The 26-year-old English actress was ready to fight the undead along with her sisters in the film based on the 2009 novel of the same name.
The trailer opened amid the tranquil outdoor setting of a British Regency era country house.

A scream prompted a rush upstairs where a girl was found gnawing on the neck of a corpse.
A voice over explained: 'It began with the Black Plague, within weeks the dead began to rise, hunting for human flesh'
The few survivors have pledged to fight the zombies and Elizabeth was heard saying she had trained her whole for it.

'My daughters are trained for battle, sir, not for the kitchen,' Mister Bennet told a suitor.
Lizzy and her sisters were shown fighting off the walking dead and arming themselves with knives in their garter belts.
'I would never relinquish my sword for a ring,' Elizabeth said.

'For the right man you would,' suggested her sister as Mister Darcy played by Sam Riley was shown.
'The right man wouldn't ask me to,' Elizabeth replied.
Lena Headey as Lady Catherine de Bourgh at the end of the trailer gave Elizabeth a compliment.

The film also stars Charles Dance as Mister Bennet, Jack Huston as Mister Wickham, Bella Heathcote as Jane Bennet, and Suki Waterhouse as Catherine 'Kitty' Bennet.
Pride And Prejudice And Zombies opens on February 5 in the US and on February 12 in the UK.
