Cody Simpson is hard to miss as he emerges from Hollywood club with face covered in glitter following late night out

Cody Simpson rigidly stuck to an all too familiar script by stepping out of  another Los Angeles haunt on Saturday evening - but there was something markedly different about the Australian star as he made a beeline for a waiting car.

Following an evening of high spirits at the popular 1OAK nightclub, Cody emerged with silver glitter covering his cheeks and nose.

Despite the late hour he looked upbeat and wide awake beneath the peak of his jaunty baseball cap while accompanied by a group of pals.

The singer, currently promoting new album Free across the United States, sported a typically casual ensemble comprised of collarless denim shirt and jeans.

Cody rounded off his look with a pair of black Converse boots, while his trademark blonde locks were partially visible beneath his head-wear.

Idly checking messages on his phone, the 18-year old cut a relaxed figure as he strolled out of the night club and onto the sidewalk.

It is the latest in a string of late night outings for Cody as he continues to enjoy a protracted stay in Los Angeles.

He was recently seen looking worse for wear after a night out at Hollywood restaurant Mr. Nice Guy, where he was joined by an attractive female pal.

The Australian singer looked typically casual in a black T-shirt and jeans during his latest Hollywood outing, a look he completed with scuffed tan leather boots and an edgy leather jacket.

With his trademark tousled locks partially visible beneath a jaunty blue baseball cap it was a spirited Cody who greeted onlookers on the night.

He was all the more noticeable by virtue of his latest growth of facial hair, which he had gamely styled into a wispy moustache and beard.

Meanwhile his mystery companion embraced the current trend for seventies inspired clothes by sporting a pair of high-waisted flares and chunky heeled shoes.
