Two prostitutes who spent four days at Lamar Odom's beck and call before he collapsed at a Nevada brothel suspected he was taking illegal drugs, new police documents reveal.

According to a statement by Detective Michael Eisenloffel, read out in court, Monica Monroe and Ryder Cherry heard 'snorting' coming from Odom's bathroom, and believed he was taking cocaine.

The new information directly contradicts earlier comments from Denis Hof, owner of the Love Ranch where Odom was found unconscious 12 days ago.

Hof has conceded that he knew Odom was taking cocaine before he arrived at the brothel, and also saw the basketball star taking herbal sex stimulants during his stay, but has denied that anyone on his staff knew he was taking illegal drugs.

The new information was revealed by the Las Vegas Review-Journal in a transcript of a phone call Eisenloffel made to a judge in the hours after Odom was found unconscious while trying to get a warrant to test Odom's blood.

As part of the grounds for a warrant, Eisenloffel had to convince the judge there was reasonable grounds to suspect Odom had been taking illegal drugs.

In his call, Eisenloffel explained that Odom had been found unconscious with blood coming from his nose and a white substance coming from his mouth, both common signs of an overdose.

However, he also said he had spoken with Monroe and Cherry who 'indicated that they heard [Odom] snorting' from a bathroom attached to his room in the brothel.

Despite strong evidence that his staff knew, or at least suspected, that Odom was taking illegal drugs, Hof has maintained his ignorance.

He told the Review-Journal that neither of the women had spoken to him about their concerns, adding that they had both been suspended from work. 

Odom's blood was eventually sent for toxicology tests to determine if he had been taking illegal substances at the brothel, though the results are not expected for weeks.

If the tests come back positive, however, then the licence for the Love Ranch is likely to come in for review, and might be revoked.

Hof stated that if any drugs were at the brothel that Lamar brought them there and also insisted that none of his prostitutes supplied him with drugs, according to an article on Sunday by TMZ.

The brothel owner also claimed that none of his prostitutes have a history with drugs and he conducts a background check that includes checking for drug-related incidents before hiring them.

Other sex workers however told TMZ that management influenced Odom into selecting two prostitutes known to tolerate drug use.

Several prostitutes reportedly quit in protest after complaining that management should not have pushed a known addict into choosing someone with a reputation for partying. 

Odom spent almost a week in a coma in hospital after being found unresponsive in a bedroom at the brothel following a four-day romp in which he allegedly ran up a tab for $79,000.

He regained consciousness with wife Khloe Kardashian at his side, and is reported to have told her 'hi baby' as he came to.

Since then he is reported to have undergone several emergency surgeries as part of an 'aggressive' regimen to get him back to health.

While a statement from his family says his condition is improving, contradictory reports have suggested he is now suffering from pneumonia.
