So it comes as no surprise that Kim Kardashian had to put her own personal spin to sharing her gratitude after hitting a social media milestone.

The recently-turned 35-year-old star celebrated her getting 50million followers with a selfie posted on Instagram on Monday.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians pulled a Miley Cyrus as she had her tongue out in the self-taken snap featuring her husband Kanye West in the background.

Kim looked very pleased with the achievement as she licked her lips in the blurry shot as she and the 38-year-old rapper were seated comfortably in what looked like the back of an SUV.

She captioned the picture to her 50.1million followers with a message written in the all caps style of Kanye's notorious Twitter rants as she wrote: 'WAIT!!!! I KNOW I'M LATE BUT 50 MILLION INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS!!!! SERIOUSLY YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!!'

The middle Kardashian sister appeared to have taken even more influence from her rapper-turned-fashion designer husband as she wore a light tan jacket with a matching top.

The pregnant star's straight raven-coloured locks were worn down and dishevelled in a middle-part as she sported natural, complimentary make-up on her face highlighted by a swipe of shiny pink lip.
