Kirsten Dunst gets cheeky as she flashes her white underwear beneath tiny tennis skirt during shopping trip

She was out to buy a Halloween costume ahead of this weekend's celebrations.

But it looked like Kirsten Dunst should have been paying a little more attention to the outfit she was wearing as the star flashed a glimpse of her white undies when leaving the Cinema Secrets Beauty Supply store in Burbank, California, on Monday.

The 33-year-old actress looked to have spent the morning playing tennis, though it seemed she had forgotten just how tiny her skirt was when she headed back to her vehicle to load up.

Re-arranging the boot of her car, a seemingly unaware Kirsten leaned perhaps a little too far forward as her skirt raised prompting the bottom of her white knickers to appear for all to see.

But the wardrobe malfunction didn't end there as things got even cheekier when the Melancholia actress' tiny number was blown up by the wind as she opened her car door, a sight made famous by tennis player Maria Sharapova during her 2010 stint at Wimbledon.

Despite revealing a little too much, the blonde kept her cool as she fixed her hair and continued loading up her car.

The actress - who played the leading role in tennis movie Wimbledon in 2004 - showed off her slender frame in the tiny style, which was comprised of a simple white T-shirt as well as her minuscule skirt.

On her feet were a pair of comfortable pink and white Adidas trainers, perfect for her morning of tennis, as well as her hunt for the perfect Halloween costume.

Her blonde locks were swept back into an effortless top knot while her pretty face, which was shielded from the sunny climes behind a pair of black shades, looked to be free of make-up.

Meanwhile, the talented actress has been busy promoting the latest series of FX TV show Fargo, in which she plays garrulous hairdresser Peggy who is determined to become a celebrity stylist.

Speaking about her new show at PaleyFest recently, the actress said of her character: 'Something bad happens.'

'She gets nuttier and nuttier as the weeks go by,' giggled Dunst, saying that 'no celebrity' would allow her character to touch their hair.
