David Thomas, 50, died alongside his son Stephen, 18, from Swindon (both pictured right) when the Leviathan II capsized (inset) while whale watching off the Canadian coast. Mr Thomas, was on holiday with his youngest son, who was a talented photographer and won a prestigious international competition last year for people with Down's syndrome. Mr Thomas's wife Julie was also on board the boat at the time of the tragedy and escaped with minor injuries. She is currently being treated in hospital. The third British victim has been named as Jack Slater, 76 (left), originally from Salford, but living in Ontario for many years. A fourth British victim has been named as Katie Taylor, 29, not pictured, while the final British fatality has yet to be named.

Sandrine Brown pleaded guilty at Warwick Crown Court to inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and five charges of sexual activity with a child. The charges Brown (31) of Paladine Way, Stoke, Coventry, has admitted relate to two girls, one of who was 13 or 14 at the time the offences began, and the other who was 16.

Sandrine Brown, 31, from Coventry, has pleaded guilty to inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and five counts of sexual activity with a child and has been sacked.
