'We've patched things up': Adele's estranged father Marc Evans claims the pair reconciled while singer was writing new album 25
She allegedly once claimed she would 'spit at him in the street' if she saw him again.
But it seems Adele has patched things up with her estranged father Marc Evans, reportedly reconciling while she was penning tracks for her upcoming album, 25.
The pair famously fell out in 2012 when the 53-year-old, who walked out on the singer when she was a child, claimed in an interview that she struggled to find love because of her abandonment issues.

Reconciliation: Adele and her estranged father Marc Evans have reportedly ended their feud, which the 53-year-old described as a 'misunderstanding'
However, in the advent of her new album's release, Marc told The Sun on Sunday: 'Adele and I are fine, it was a misunderstanding.
'We've patched things up, everything's fine, but I don't want to make further comment.'
The pair are said to have secretly made amends after Marc gave another interview about the notoriously private star in late 2013, revealing he was battling bowel cancer and publicly begging for her forgiveness.
Family feud: Marc initially angered the superstar by giving an interview about their private family life, but they are said to have reconciled after he revealing he was battling bowel cancer
He pleaded for the chance to see his younger grandson Angelo, whose father is Adele's partner Simon Konecki, before it was too late.
An insider told the paper's Emma Brankin the peace talks occurred shortly after Marc had 11 potentially deadly tumours removed from his colon.
Marc walked out on Adele's mother Penny Adkins and his three-year-old daughter in 1991, leaving Penny to bring up Adele alone in her London flat while he moved to South Wales.
Comeback queen: Adele was in high spirits as she arrived at the BBC Radio 1 studios in London on Friday to promote her new single, Hello
Put the pedal to the metal in some boots like Adele's
Adele is back.
And when she rocked up to the BBC Radio 1 studios she reminded us exactly how much we have missed her buttery smooth voice and very glamorous style. She kept things simple in an all-black ensemble, but check out those killer boots!
They're of course by Christian Louboutin (the little flash of red on the sole was a giveaway!) and we love the silver metal toe cap, heel and buckle details. We have actually spotted Jena Malone, Fergie, Mischa Barton and Diane Kruger all wearing this so-called Chelita style, and although they're actually from the Fall 2012 collection, these boots are bang on trend.
A good pair of ankle boots is always worth investing in, especially ones that can dress up any outfit. So whilst Adele's are now all sold out, click (right) to buy a new season style at Net-a-Porter.

He admitted he was a terrible father and spent much of her childhood drinking to numb the pain of losing his own father to cancer.
Adele's father also confessed at the time that while his famous daughter had forgiven him for his past transgressions, the feud was sparked after he gave an interview about the family's past.
He confessed to writing her letters every month to no avail and said he never gave up hope of seeing his grandson.
'Make-up record': Adele revealed last week that her third album was about letting go of the past, so it seems likely some lyrics may have been inspired by her father
MailOnline has contacted Adele's spokesperson, who declined to comment.
The news comes just after the Oscar-winning Skyfall singer made confirmed her long-awaited third album, her first since 2011's 21, would be called 25 and was set for release next month.
The 27-year-old vocal powerhouse described her new music as a 'make-up record' in a social media post, revealing she was letting go of her past troubles and looking to the future - perhaps partially alluding to her family troubles.

Love interest: Former 90210 actor Tristan Wilds takes a starring role in the Xavier Dolan-shot clip

Appearing on BBC Radio 1 with Nick Grimshaw, the singer gave a frank interview about making the album.
'I felt like this was never going to happen,' she said, ' felt like I was never going to finish this record.
