Queen Bey vs Magic Mike! Channing Tatum and Beyonce set to face-off on Lip Sync Battle

One is a Hollywood hunk known for playing a stripper while the other is a bona fide pop diva.

And while pairing the two together in a battle onstage might spell blockbuster magic, it is in fact scheduled to happen in real life.

Channing Tatum and Beyonce Knowles are set to face-off on Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The exact air date has yet to be announced but it will surely draw in viewers to the show which has made a name for itself by having famous celebs showdown onstage.

Previous battles have included an epic war between Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt.

The news of the Lip Sync Battle comes shortly after the Destiny's Child alum's father Mathew Knowles claimed she is older than 34 - the age she claims to be.

Mathew told The Breakfast Club radio show that his daughter is really the same age as fellow pop star Pink, who is 36.

He also said Beyoncé is the same age as R&B singer Usher, who was born in October 1978.

Channing, meanwhile, is enjoying life with his wife Jenna Dewan and their daughter Everly, two.

The two actors met while shooting their 2006 film, Step Up. The couple began dating shortly after filming and were married in 2009.

While promoting Step Up shortly before its release Jenna sat down with About.com Entertainment and discussed her feelings on co-star, Tatum.

'He’s such a good dancer on his own,' she said. 'He really has so much natural talent.'
