Photographer Dan Proud has captured the rolling Australian landscape from above with a spectacular drone video that includes orangey sunsets and red cattle running on the expansive plains. Filmed in corners of the country that few may have a chance to visit, the footage features incredible scenes over Western Australia's Hamersley Range and Karijini National Park.

Baby giraffe Kiko was brought to a wildlife trust in the Nairobi National Park after being found helpless and alone by Kenya Wildlife Service. After being rescued, Kiko and elephant calf Loboito were housed next to each other as Kiko was too small to sleep in the giraffe stables. The pair (pictured) struck up a unique bond, with Loboito said to love spending time under the long legs of his buddy.

A rare sighting of 30 dolphins performing incredible tricks and huge jumps has been captured on camera just 650ft off the English coast. The large pod of dolphins can be seen swimming in synchronisation and leaping over heights of 10ft in the air together. Spectators on the boat were stunned as the playful dolphins swam up to them and started entertaining them off the coast of the Isle of Wight.

The unique holiday experience is being offered by Australian tour company Intrepid Travel. The journey begins and ends in Beijing, with the Pyongyang Marathon one of the first activities offered. The Pyongyang Marathon is an annual event that was held for the first time in 1981 for men, with a woman's race added in 1984. International runners have only been allowed to participate over the last two years, with 650 foreigners taking part in 2015. Runners participate in an opening ceremony in the Kim Il Sung Stadium before running through the city and finishing at Pyongyang's Arch of Triumph.

Around 230 participants gathered in Stroehen, Germany for the first round of the dog sled North German Off-Snow championships. And the challenges of trekking through the snow was replaced with something a lot more testing - and a lot dirtier. Husky dogs among others pulled their owners around on bicycles and trolleys through thick mud around a three-mile course at the Wagenfeld zoo.
