They've been dating for eight months but it seems that Matt Bellamy and girlfriend Elle Evans are still very much in the honeymoon stage of their romance.

The pair couldn't keep their hands, or their lips for that matter, off each other as they soaked up the sunshine by the pool at a hotel in Brazil.

Matt and the 25-year-old model and actress were spotted kissing and canoodling, looking very much in love as they relaxed on sun loungers together on Tuesday.

Elle showed off her incredible figure in a pretty turquoise and pink patterned bikini and accessorised with a choker around her neck, as well as two longer necklaces.

She added extra inches to her height with a pair of chunky patterned platforms and wore a pair of round orange sunglasses to finish off her colourful beachwear look.

The beauty had her blonde tresses tied up into a high pony for an ultra-glam take on the typical poolside look.

Matt was dressed in a more relaxed way, wearing a white T-shirt with a pair of monochrome patterned shorts and a pair of Nike trainers.

Their PDA display might have drawn attention from fellow guests when Elle climbed up onto her beau for a more intimate smooch.

The couple were making the most of some downtime in the city days before Matt joined his Muse bandmates on stage at Rio's HSBC Arena on Thursday.

And it seems the pair enjoyed a romantic time ahead of the concert with the couple enjoying a scenic helicopter ride of the area earlier in the week.

The couple were first linked in February after Matt and Kate Hudson announced they were ending their marriage back in December last year.

Elle, who bears a striking resemblance to Kate, has starred in the music video for Muse's song Mercy, the chart-topping single from their latest album Drones.
