'When the time comes you just go': Joe Giudice talks about preparing for prison... and claims he didn't know he was doing any wrong on RHONJ
Joe Giudice revealed how he is preparing himself for life behind bars on Sunday's episode of the Real Housewives Of New Jersey.
The 43-year-old reality star discussed what his mindset is before having to serve his prison term.
He said: 'I ain't even really thinking about myself going to jail. When the time comes, you just go.'

Joe also opened up about the fraud conviction that landed he and wife Teresa with prison sentences as he explained to their attorney James J. Leonard Jr that ignorance was perhaps to blame.
'I didn't know I was doing things wrong in the first place,' he explained. 'Basically I committed some kind of fraud with mortgages, and I know now it wasn't the right thing to do.'
Regardless of how this pans out the patriarch of the family will be happy to move on from this dark period in their lives.

He told his lawyer: 'We're in this situation, we need to slowly climb out of it and never look back.'
It was quite an emotional episode as Joe Gorga broke down in tears after seeing his sister, Teresa, in prison for the first time.
Due to family tensions and prison bureaucracy Teresa already had been jailed for six months before her brother visited her and shed his tough guy persona.
Gorga, 36, admitted sobbing 'like a baby' when he saw Teresa in her prison garb coming out from behind the barred facility.

'To see her back there…like some chained animal you know…?' he lamented on the final part three of a special Bravo show The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In.
'She broke down and held me, that's how she used to be,' he said.
The feisty New Jersey businesswomen is incarcerated in Connecticut on fraud charges with an estimated release date of December 23.

Gorga had been fretting for days in the run-up to the meeting.
'I haven't slept in three days, and I have three more days to go,' he told his wife Melissa.
'My body is numb right now, I don't know what to think or feel,' he said.

'We were brought up in a family that never cried. ..this broke me,' he sobbed after the depressing rendezvous.
'No brother wants to see his sister, locked up…with four kids,' he cried.
Tensions had been very strained between the two siblings for some time.

'I can't say there's much I miss about my sister right now,' he'd said beforehand.
'I miss the old Teresa,' added the reality star, who claimed to be intensely 'shocked' that his 'goody two shoes' sister could go so awry.
'We never got in any trouble as kids...we were too scared of our father,' he said.

Teresa, normally a formidable matriarch, was also feeling the strain behind bars.
After being denied conjugal visits she was desperate for physical affection.
On a phone call to her husband the 43-year-old reality star described how inmates describe becoming 'a virgin again' after spending time behind bars.

'In prison your vaginas get tighter? Maybe I'll send Melissa there,' said Joe Gorga crudely.
'There are girls that make dildos in here…I don't have one,' said Teresa, noting that the inmates get in trouble with the guards for their DIY vibrators.
She called her husband again craving his attention.

'Hi sweetheart, I can't wait to be in your arms, forever. I want you to hold me really really tight and never let me go,' she said.
The show opened with Joe Giudice struggling with domestic issues in their New Jersey mansion.
While trying to handle his daughters the 43-year-old businessman dropped his phone in the pond.

As he grumpily dredged through the mud the girls laughed and took videos of him.
'After a full day of hanging out with my kids I think anybody would drink a bottle of wine at night,' he grumbled.
After numerous spats in the past Melissa, Teresa's sister in law, had been denied visiting rights.

James Leonard, Teresa's attorney explained: 'Federal prisoners submit a list of persons that they would like to have contact with while they are in prison'.
'My wife doesn't care about seeing Melissa,' said Joe.
Melissa was upset and defiant.

'I've been in this family 11 years now, I'm not going anywhere,' she huffed.
Joe, who is facing his own 42-month jail next year, decided to take the kids to Upstate New York for a holiday.
His cousin Eugene did the driving since Joe no longer holds a license.

As soon as they got to the house the girls found a chainsaw and a bullet.
'I'm going to need your help with these girls,' shrieked Melissa.
In true Italian-American style the family gathered to make pizzas in a traditional brick oven. They later went to the chapel to pray.

The girls struggled with the most basic of prayers.
'Right, when I get home we're going to church every single Sunday,' raged Teresa on the phone.

'Mom's not here, it's rough…I'd rather be with my friends sometimes,' she said.
In his wife's absence Joe asked his daughter Milania to shave his back.
'By you working for me you could be a tax reduction for me,' he told her.

The embattled father of four was also required to discuss his restitution payments and future plans with their lawyer.
'When she comes home she will be under home confinement,' warned the attorney.
'I've just got to take it day by day,' he sighed.

Teresa was set to return on December 23 with Joe scheduled to begin his prison term in March 2016.
The first installment of the three-part series aired on October 11.
