She's up for the prestigious Womenswear Designer prize at the British Fashion Awards.

And on Monday, Victoria Beckham showcased her impeccable eye for style once again when she caught a flight out of LAX.

The 41-year-old former Spice Girl turned every head with her bright orange-red trousers and preppy plaid coat.

Victoria was accompanied by a man that appeared to be her bodyguard, who closely followed the pop star-turned-fashion designer.

The former singer was impeccably styled as usual, with her long brunette hair worn down in loose and romantic waves.

Her eyes were hidden behind a pair of large, over sized sunglasses, and a crisp white shirt polished off the look.

Not pictured was her husband David Beckham.

The couple are parents of Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and daughter Harper, four.

The sighting comes not long after her fashion efforts were recognised with a nomination for the Womenswear Designer prize at the British Fashion Awards 2015.

Victoria will have stiff competition from rival designers Christopher Kane and J.W. Anderson.

Other nominees include Tom Ford, who is up for both the Menswear Designer and Red Carpet gong and battling out for the Brand prize are labels Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry and Stella McCartney.

The winners will be announced at a star-studded ceremony held in association with Swarovski at the London Coliseum on November 23.
