He has become the desire of women everywhere since appearing on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing as Anita Rani’s professional dance partner.

But Gleb Savchenko looked a far cry from his smouldering self as he transformed into a ghoulish werewolf for a Halloween photoshoot with TV Times magazine.

The Russian star, 31, channelled a chilling look thanks to lashings of face paint and hairspray as well as coloured eye contact lenses.

Meanwhile, the Countryfile presenter oozed heaps of elegance in a glamorous lilac gown, while being twirled by the devilishly handsome dancer.

Speaking about the upcoming Halloween special in accompanying interview, Strictly hunk Gleb admits he has been pulling out all the stops to make dance routine spectacular.

‘Anita’s not a trained dancer and the routines I’m choreographing for her are super difficult,’ he explained. ‘But she works so hard every week, spending hours and hours in the dance studio to nail every routine.

‘It looks so easy but it’s a nasty process before that. You never know if it’s going to work until the very last moment.’

Both Anita and Glen, who have been dubbed Team Glita, have so far managed to avoid being in the bottom two, continually impressing judges with their stunning performances.

‘I like the fact that I’ve surprised people but I don’t feel I’m that good, I’m just working hard,’ added Anita.

‘Learning to dance is much tougher than I thought it would be, it’s like picking up a language from scratch, but I’m having the best time doing it.’

Gleb, who has previously worked on Dancing With The Stars, is married to fellow dancer Elena Samodanova, 32, a judge on the Russian version of Strictly – they are parents to their four-year-old daughter, Olivia.

The remaining 11 couples will return to the dance floor on Saturday for Strictly's Halloween special.
