Lauren Bush Lauren is at the tail end of her pregnancy, but that didn't stop the mother-to-be from enjoying the fall weather and joining her husband David Lauren on a trip to an apple orchard.

The 31-year-old, who is due to give birth to her first child in November, posed with one hand on her growing baby bump and another holding a freshly-picked apple, as her 44-year-old husband proudly snapped her photo.

'Mama-to-be @laurenblauren picking fresh apples and eating for two,' David captioned the image, which he posted to his Instagram account on Monday.

The niece of former President George W. Bush looked radiant in an olive green cargo jacket, black skinny pants and a white T-shirt hanging loosely over her bulging stomach.

More than 1,500 people have liked the photo since it was posted on Monday evening, and many also chose to leave comments congratulating the couple on their expected arrival.

Actress Elizabeth Berkeley, who is married to David's cousin Greg Lauren, also commented on the picture, writing: 'Cannot wait!'

Just a few weeks ago, Lauren enjoyed an evening out at father-in-law Ralph Lauren's 76th birthday, dressing her bump in an olive green tunic-style dress, which showcased her slender legs, as she hit up the bash with David, who is the son of the fashion icon.

Pairing her simple frock with a blue overcoat and suede booties, the philanthropist looked relaxed and casual as she entered the fete.

Lauren and David, who married in the Rocky Mountains in 2011, announced they were having a baby via Instagram in late July.

Sharing a sweet photo of her and David gazing into each other's eyes in Big Sur, California, the former mode wrote: 'We feel blessed and excited to welcome our little one to the world this November! #babymoon.'

David, who is the youngest son of Ralph and Ricky Ann Loew-Beer, 57, was also casually dressed for the soiree, wearing a tweed vest and jeans.

David recently turned 44 on October 11, so it's possible the party was a joint celebration.

Lauren and David, who live in a $28 million New York townhouse formally owned by Annie Leibovitz, have been together for eight years.

She is the co-founder of FEED, an organization dedicated to fighting world hunger and feeding children around the globe, while he is the Senior Vice President of Advertising at his father's fashion house.

The Bush brood has been expanding as well. Lauren's cousin Jenna Bush, 33, gave birth to her second daughter, Poppy, in August.

Jenna named her baby girl after she and Lauren's mutual grandfather, former President George H W Bush, 91, who has had the nickname since he was a child.
