Jurgen Klopp the showman... Liverpool's new boss as you've never seen him before
- Jurgen Klopp will manage his first Premier League match on Saturday
- Sportsmail has collected some old pictures of Klopp, dating back to 1985
- He is seen with mascots and celebrating Dortmund's Bundesliga success
- Liverpool fans will hope Klopp can bring them success at Anfield
As Jurgen Klopp prepares to make his Premier League bow on Saturday, it appears the new Liverpool manager wasn't always such a cool customer.
This picture of the German from 30 years ago is one that he would probably like to forget.
Other pictures from the collection include the former Borussia Dortmund boss in action during his playing days at Mainz, as well as posing with club mascot 'Emma' at the Westfalenstadion.

One other snap from his Dortmund days shows the 48-year-old leading the crowd in a chant after securing the Bundesliga title in 2011, but the manager could well be mistaken for the lead singer in a band.
On Saturday, Klopp will make his Premier League managerial debut when he takes charge of Liverpool, away at Tottenham.
He began his career in management at Mainz in 2001, moving on to Dortmund seven years later, after taking his first club up to the Bundesliga for the first time in their history.
Another seven years on, he was appointed as manager at Anfield on October 8, and Reds fans will be hoping this is the start of a new era on Merseyside.
Just as Mainz and Dortmund fans reminisce on pictures of their old boss, Liverpool supporters will surely be desperate to do the same a few years down the line.
